Upgrade & billing portal

  1. Sign in at app.arborbuddy.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Billing.
  3. Choose Foreman, Autopilot, or the plan shown in your Plan Picker.
  4. Stripe Checkout opens in a new secure session.
  5. After payment, your tier updates via webhook — refresh if UI lags (usually instant).

Checkout always uses the stripe-checkout edge function — never enter card details inside ArborBuddy directly.

Owner-only: Only account owners can open Stripe Checkout or the billing portal. Dispatchers and field leads do not see billing settings.

The billing page shows two usage meters:

  • Fleet crews — how many crews you’ve created vs. your tier cap (Climber 3, Foreman 10, Autopilot unlimited).
  • Lead intakes — monthly AI imports used (Magic Paste, voice, webhooks, CSV AI mapping) with a countdown to reset.

When you approach a cap, upgrade prompts appear in the app. See Plans & tiers for exact limits.

Paid customers use Manage Fleet Access (Stripe Customer Portal) from the billing page to:

  • Update payment method
  • View invoices
  • Change plan (where enabled)

Portal sessions are created by the stripe-portal edge function.

When emailing support, include your Account ID from the billing page — copy button pre-fills a mailto to support@arborbuddy.com.
